Creative Folks at Clemson

Aside from the Rick Warren reference(s) and the fact that this was actually developed by Clemson University students ( ;) ), this is a pretty clever spoof of the TV show “The Office.” It was developed by the leadership staff at Clemson FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). I was a member of FCA during my time at Georgia Southern (ok, I only played intramural basketball, softball, and volleyball, but they still let you join), and that organization is one of the means God used to bring me to faith in Christ.

One of the cool providential things I remember is that after I became a Christian and was attending FCA, on a trip home one weekend I found an old comic book I had bought as a kid, entitled “Tom Landry and the Dallas Cowboys.” I reread the comic book (I had bought it as a kid because I like the Cowboys then), and was shocked to find that it was actually a Christian comic book! Tom Landry gives his testimony in it, and one of the organizations he mentions is FCA!

If you watch the video, one of the young men (Daniel Holzberger, the one with the beard) is a good friend. My wife and I attended Unity ARP with Daniel and his parents back when I was in seminary at Erskine. I believe Daniel wants to go into the ministry after graduating from Clemson.
