John Hagee and Jesus’ Messiahship

Well, I don’t think too many folks think of John Hagee as a stalwart theologian (outside of those watching Praise the Lord marathons on the ironically named Trinity Network). His views of Jewish salvation has always been troubling, as are his ties to the prosperity gospel (see here). However, this little video clip really defies explanation.

Maybe he just isn’t explaining himself too well. Maybe he’s showing his true colors. I don’t plan on buying the book.
My brother Benjamin, I don’t suppose I can get you to purchase a copy and write the review, can I? ![]()
I’ll talk to my wife
He wishes to exculpate the Jews for not believing in Christ. As a dispensationalist, he goes on the fallacious assumption that God is somehow ungracious in sending the Savior first unto Israel. This is all part of not evangelizing the Jews so that they will be able to start Armegeddon.
In otherwords, poppycock.
