Calvinists are Heretics?!?

I just ran across this short clip of an address by Jerry Falwell on James White’s website. Falwell is, it seems, either ignorant or confused not only about historic Reformed theology but also about the historical beliefs of his own denomination. At any rate, it shouldn’t sound too shocking to hear him refer to those who hold to particular atonement as “heretics” when a faculty member at Liberty University (Ergun Caner) once described Calvinists as worse than Muslims.
